Colleen Conlon has been a fierce force in the fitness industry since 2013, transforming lives with her passion and expertise. She began her illustrious career as a group fitness instructor at some of NYC’s most prestigious gyms, including Equinox, LifeTime, and Crunch. Colleen's talents quickly caught the attention of the digital world, leading her to contribute to fitness apps like DailyBurn and become a founding trainer for Equinox's revolutionary app. Alongside these accomplishments, she built a thriving freelance personal training business in the heart of New York City.
Before embarking on her fitness journey, Colleen was studying musical theater in NYC, showcasing her diverse talents and dedication to the performing arts. During her time in the city, she also worked as a fitness model, further establishing her presence in the industry.
Armed with a diverse array of certifications from ACE, PTAGLOBAL, YTT200, RKC, The Gray Institute, SHWINN, and YOUCANROW, Colleen is a powerhouse of knowledge and skill. In 2020, she launched a groundbreaking virtual fitness business, offering private training, group sessions, and online courses focused on the Hardstyle Kettlebell Technique. Her dedication and expertise have earned her two Guinness World Records for the Turkish get-up.
Colleen Conlon’s work sits at the intersection of strength training, skill acquisition, and developing self-trust.
Her career began in performance, studying musical theater and learning how to communicate clearly, stay present under pressure, and connect with people in real time. At 19, she began teaching group fitness, eventually building a career across elite gyms, digital platforms, and leadership roles within the fitness industry.
Colleen is the author of Kettlebell Catalyst, a bestselling book on Amazon, and the host of The Dangerous Women Podcast, where she explores strength, health, and the practice of choosing capability over restriction. She has led retreats, coached athletes and everyday people alike, and has been featured in publications including Cosmopolitan, STRONG, Women’s Health, and the New York Post.
Since 2020, Colleen has built and run a six-figure virtual fitness business from the ground up. She coaches women and men ranging from their 20s through their 70s, teaching kettlebell skill and strength in a virtual environment where clarity, responsibility, and consistency matter. Much of her work happens through a camera — requiring precise communication, thoughtful progression, and trust in the learning process.
In addition to coaching, Colleen developed and launched Afterburn, a performance recovery supplement, bringing the product from concept to market and managing coordination across formulation, manufacturing, and packaging. Her work behind the scenes reflects the same standards she brings to coaching: structure, follow-through, and earned results.
As a Guinness World Record holder in the Turkish Get-Up, Colleen understands that mastery is not about bravado — it’s about patience, commitment, and staying present when things feel challenging. Her own experience recovering from an eating disorder and four major abdominal surgeries shaped her belief that strength is not a shortcut, but a practice.
At the core of Colleen’s work is a simple principle:
when people build real skill, they learn to trust themselves — and that changes how they move, decide, and lead.Â
Through her Find Your Fierce methodology, Colleen creates environments where people are expected to participate fully in their own growth — earning confidence, capacity, and self-trust one repetition at a time.
